Hey guys! Just stopping by to say hi! I'm busy with product development at the moment  - working on a few new products for the shop that I'm super pumped about. It'll be a couple weeks before I can show you anything (the suspense!) but in the meantime I'm having a sale in the shop to make room for all of the new stuff! I'm discontinuing a few products, some of them my best sellers (I'm looking at you, MINI Cooper Coasters) so act fast if you're interested! New Illustrated Pins in the Shop!

Just popping in to let you know about these brand new pins I have in the shop! I originally intended to make a few just for Patchwork Show (I like to have something special just for shows), but as per usual, I got really excited about them and decided to sell them in the online shop as well. I hope you like them!

Above: Shasta Trailers are at the top of my list for dream trailers. Just love that little wing! I have them in a few different colors - this pink one may be my favorite.

New Greeting Cards in the Shop!

I've been a busy bee working on new cards for the shop. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen a preview!

My Vintage Trailer Caravan fabric print is one of my most popular products and excited to have it on greeting cards! Happy Camper is hand printed in my favorite shades of teal and pink on white stock. So cute! It's a great anytime card.

I've had the idea for this card in my brain for a while. You know I love me a plant pun! Use these leafy greens to say I'm Frond of You! Printed with velvety black and metallic gold inks, it's graphic with a little bling.

Next up are two coordinating cards, Thinking of You and Thanks So Much. I originally intended to only print these in one or two colors but when I was standing in front of the screen with the squeegee in my hand I couldn't resist trying out a few color combinations. I love them all! Both designs are available in pink or teal on white and white on kraft brown.



One of the 2015 goals I set for my business was to work hard on diversifying my greeting card line. These new cards included, that makes 13 new cards so far this year. Woohoo!

Shop Update: Doxie Fabric, Mod Home Collection, & Rubber Stamps

I've been designing and making lots of new products for the shop that I'm so excited to share! The newest arrival in the shop (just listed a couple days ago) is my new Dachshund Love fabric print. Available in black + white with red hearts and coral pink + white with black hearts. It's so cute, I can't wait to sew something with it!


Also new to the shop is the start of a new collection called Mod Home. The collection will consist of housewares and accessories that are cool and contemporary with a touch of retro style. They'd look great in a sleek mid century home or a cute, colorful apartment.

My first new products in this collection are sets of 100% wool coasters. They're screen printed by hand in two different designs - Power lines and Boomerang. A cool feature of these is that they work great individually but can be fit together to make a larger 8" square trivet.

There are a few new greeting cards on the scene in the shop, too! Mother's Day and Father's Day are approaching, so I made new cards for the occasions. I designed this "time to party" card for all of those other special times. It features three Nelson-esque clocks with a bit of confetti and hand lettering.


Sometimes the best thing you can do in a sucky situation is acknowledge it. Did your friend just get dumped by someone they didn't really like that much? Pull their groin playing basketball? Get a really bad haircut? Send them this card and let them know that "that stinks!"

Last but not least, I have 3 new rubber stamps! They're based on my travel illustrations, with an Italian Vespa, Double Decker London Bus, and Eiffel Tower. They're perfect for adding some European flair to your mail and paper goods.

That's all the new stuff for now. I'm working on lots more, but they'll have to be put on hold for a bit while I get ready for Craftcation! This time next week I'll be hanging out with lots of other creatives in Ventura, learning a bunch and crafting as much as possible. I'll also be teaching my simple screen printing workshop, so I can't wait for that! If you're going let me know. I'd love to meet you!

New Valentine Cards in the Shop!

Happy Friday! I'm excited to share one of the many projects I've been secretly working on with you today - New Valentine's Day cards!

Truth is, I started designing these quite a while ago. That's the thing about the stationery business - you have to work pretty far in advance to be ready for each holiday. So while everything was thinking about fall leaves and pumpkin pie, I was channeling pink & red, hearts, and lovey-dovey stuff.

I'm constantly cutting up paper and find it's a great exercise for generating new graphic design ideas. For this one, the "I LOVE U" card, I thought, why not a papercut design of a papercut design? You can see the original papercut in the photos. I added the lettering in Illustrator and then arranged the components (garland, scissors, paper scraps) and made a silkscreen to print the actual cards! It's available in kraft brown and natural white.

I wrote out a simple script pattern of the word "love" for this one, with "I love you" accented in neon pink. It's a pretty, graphic card that's perfect for Valentine's Day, or any other day when you need to say those three words.

New Ornaments, Fabrics, Etc!

Hey there! The busy season has already started and before I get swept away filling orders and sharing new holiday DIYs, I wanted to stop by to share a few updates, shop and otherwise!



Remember the retro ornament gift tags I shared last week? I shared them on Facebook and my good friend Ann suggested I make some actual ornaments out of my ornament designs. As per usual, I immediately got swept up into idea and spent the next two (or three or four) evenings working out a design and refining the technique (and sanding, sealing, printing, leafing, drilling, and sealing some more)! And now here they are! Mixed media (screen print on wood with gold leaf) ornaments. They're available in sets of three in my shop and on Etsy. I hope you like them!



I have some new fabrics in the shop, too. Kebab and Flower Grid. All of the colors coordinate with my other fabric prints. I'm looking forward to sewing something up with these guys.



In non-shop news, my Etsy Craft Entrepreneurship class has been going so well! There's only one class meeting left! I can't believe how fast the past 5 weeks have gone. I've been having a great time meeting local artisans and helping them get their shops up and running.



My pup Baci is growing super fast. She's almost 6 months old. In the past few weeks she's been teething like crazy and losing the last of her baby teeth. I feel like our housebreaking training may be coming to a close (thank goodness).

In addition to the usual shop updates and blog diys I'm just about to jump into a bedroom makeover project! I'm currently working out the design details, but I can't wait to roll up my sleeves and get started. Keep an eye out for those posts on the blog, coming soon!

Holiday Shop Update

Is it socially acceptable to talk about the holidays yet? I sure hope so! I've been adding festive holiday items to the shop lately, like these screen printed gift tags.



They feature the same ornament designs from my Merry & Bright holiday cards (I shared my creative process for that design here). Available in kraft & black, kraft & white, white & teal, and white & pink. They'd add a cool, retro vibe to all of those pretty gifts you'll give this season. You can find them all in my shop.

Vintage Trailer Caravan Art Prints & Stamps

I've been busy over here working on new products and I'm so excited that I finally get to share! First up are these new 11x14 Vintage Trailer Caravan prints in two colorways! I'm excited to be able to offer a larger format print than my usual 8x10s. They're high-quality art prints, digitally printed on matte stock with archival inks. I was going to say they'd look great in a kids room or nursery, but come to think of it, they'd be perfect in a kitchen, bathroom, living room, laundry room...hmm, I think that's everywhere!

Shop Updates!

Hi friends! There's a lot going in the Vitamini studios these days as I prepare for the up-coming holiday season, so here's a little update!

I was so thrilled to see a Vitamini screen print in this beautiful styled shot by vtwonen, via sfgirlbybay last week. I kicked things into high gear this week and now have these prints back in stock! Available in hot pink and black on thick, 100% cotton stock. You can find both in my shop, here.

I'm also getting ready for Re:Make in San Francisco! Come out to Fort Mason, September 13th to shop top-notch handmade brands and even make some crafts yourself! It's guaranteed to be a good time.
